After-Game Report...And Ppl Get A Life!!!!

What up my people! If you were wondering where I've been hiding, I took a sabbatical from social networking. I gave it up for lent. So sorry for the birthday wishes I missed and responses back to messages...But anyways I've done a lot, learned a lot as well as seen a lot during my sabbatical. I encourage an extended break from social networking. See the world for what it is and not visualize off someone else's experience. Not to be an advocate or PSA for get out and do something. Try change and don't get offended at the term "GET A LIFE"....lol! I'm not going to talk about relationship perceptions (in this one). I'm talk about my benefits from the lack of social networking.

Not that I'm the jealous type or anything but I can understand why a person would not be satisfied about there own life.
Too many times a day I hear folks say they need to be doing more with they're life. Well... Could it be that you're trying to base your success from others? Could it be that you don't have enough faith in God to trust him enough that everything will work itself out? Could it be that your perception of success is like a pre-teen child watching a rapper on television? I think it's a combination of all. I look at the many picture taken in my trips and say well someone who doesn't talk to me on the regular would believe i'm successful and making major moves. When thats not the case at all. Now-a-days perception is everything. People perceive the truth and the truth is what they perceive. Being that I'm in the science field no hypothesis holds plausible truth until it has been tested. So why can't people apply that to life. You can't be a success unless you test your own potential.

Everything learning involved is an attribute from experience. Yeah one can say people are scared of failure but one in the same failure is not a bad thing. Tavis Smiley has a book out talking about how the many failed attempts in his life has brought him success. Which brings me back to social networking. These are my thoughts some people want to make themselves seem as though they're successful and doing a lot when they haven't done anything when it comes to social networking......Trust God and base your own success off yourself...failure only prepares you to do better. Nothing worth having in life come without failure.....to some degree....and to the kid looking up to rappers it's all.....RENTED.....lol!!! Peace, Love, God Bless and Happy Easter.....Keep Thinking Good Thoughts.

  1. Bobby I love this piece!! You definitely are right about people basing their success off of what they see other people do. Wrong!! People need to set goals and just aim for higher, that's success. If you try & keep up with the Joneses you'll never be satisfied or truly happy. Good words of advice!!
