Love: The Most Powerful Word in the English Language

Okay on a serious note how far have we come as a people and what does it mean to say this word and truthfully mean it.  Is it the love for our skin tone to say you're black and proud.  Is it love  that you have for God when you are monetarily well endowed.  Well there are two things that I see wrong here.  I heard of black professors  at HBCUs who express their love for the students through words and at the same time express no uplifting consoling.  Sure I agree with loving God but when times are good are we really going about spreading the good news and helping others through positive messages and words.  I always thought christianity is love.  I know I may get a lot of negativity for saying this but our enemies are people too and to glorify an ultimate evil that has happened to them make us no better than the enemy.  So is it really the love of the country or is it a programmed love through media.  Do we have to be trained to love?.....Hmmmmm?

Back to my first thoughts involving education.  I read a bit more on Booker T. Washington and W.E.B. Dubois today, in which I thought they both expressed good ideology when it comes to the progression of black people.  Although both had conflicting views, they ultimately expressed their love through blatant efforts to better black people as a whole....Real Love for The Black Skin... I'm a advocate for positivity and things nowadays seem more about propaganda giving off the perception of Black Love... Their is people out there that are really trying to make a difference but they're actions often go on blind eyes and def ears because that's not what is emphasized in todays popular media.... The saying is always true we need to do better as a Whole people but first we need to educate ourselves on how and re-redefined the word "Love". Until the next blog Stay blessed Love, Peace, remain positive and Thing Good Thoughts

Love,

Bobby H.
