Peace and I hope all is well. Currently in Starbuck, not my personal favorite location but they've changed up the decor so it's ok. It's a rainy Sunday in North Dallas, not a normal winter day because it's unseasonably warm. I'm currently listening to Don't Smoke by Fly Anakin. Super dope artist that I would recommend. I can't give a cooking update because I haven't been cooking (shrugs) however I did buy a new cookbook... Soon as I get in the kitchen, I gotcha on the update. A few things I would like to share some thoughts on being how political news is presented to us, Gayle and some things to think about on your personal daily journey.
I promise I won't give you a dissertation on the subject of politics. If you're feeling like I'm feeling then you're probably numb to any new developments until it's time to vote. I remember writing an essay in undergrad about ways news outlets lock us in. Well they did a really good job this time locking me in with this impeachment jazz. Again, I'm not going to get in the logistics of it all just saying I was compelled into thinking the current president was out. This confirms my thoughts, before impeachment talks were looking concrete, that overall news outlets are still businesses that thrive off number regardless of the quality and how accurate the facts are. I go to both ends of the spectrum to make my own opinions but just like salesmen they are equally just as polarizing hooking you to their product like mainstream Shade Room. One news outlet I've been following heavy since President Obama's first run is BBC news. They've been consistently concise with the fact and very unbiased. At the end of the day play your part in change and don't allow these polarizing news outlets discourage you from aspiring to achieve.
Well I was going to get into the Gayle thing but I think as a collective we agree that she was out of line. However, I don't agree with the death threats and disrespect of an older African-American woman or any woman. (Throws queue card on Gayle related topics out) Rest In Peace to my homie Abe, Kobe, his daughter, the families on board the helicopter, Chad and anyone else that was important to you or in your life as a friend or family member in 2020. Prayers for strength and comfort to you and yours. (Moment of Silence).......... See the blessings in everything. Everyone has a date. Do the best you can while you're here, show love regardless and don't take anything personal (Four Agreements dope read if you have the time for it).
